Three people were killed in a helicopter crash in the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg on Sunday.
It was initially unclear whether anyone else was missing, according to a spokesperson. Investigators are trying to establish where the Robinson R44 helicopter took off. A spokesperson said once this was known, it would also likely become clear how many people were on board.
The helicopter crashed early on Sunday afternoon in a forest in Buchen, near the border with Hesse and Bavaria.
The cause of the accident was not clear. Debris from the crash was scattered over hundreds of metres in the middle of the forest, according to a police spokesperson at the scene. He was unable to provide any information about the identity of those who died.
