Elegancia Group’s pavilion has bagged the “best overall design” title among all the exhibitors of the recently-concluded Project Qatar 2021, the country’s largest construction show.
Through the pavilion, the group highlighted its latest projects and businesses at the expo, which was hosted at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre. It opened the pavilion on October 4, 2021, in the presence of Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of Finance HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Elegancia Chairman Moutaz Al Khayyat, its Managing Director Ramez Al Khayyat and CEO Henrik Christiansen. Also present were the group’s executive leaders as well as several officials and renowned public figures.
During a tour of the expo, Elegancia MD Ramez Al Khayat explained to the minister the business units and specializations provided by the group’s 14 companies operating across four different sectors — healthcare, contracting, services, and industries. The minister was also briefed on the company’s latest healthcare projects. These include ‘The View Hospital’ close to Al Qatifiyah area, which is scheduled to open in August 2022, and the Korean Medical Center in Lusail Boulevard.
As part of the event, Khayyat, said, “Through our participation in Project Qatar, we hope to demonstrate the integration and diversity of our businesses, which characterizes Elegancia Group’s work in a variety of sectors. We would also like to highlight the admirable professionalism and experience of our employees, all of whom come from diverse cultures and walks of life.”
Elegancia Group occupies a competitive position in the markets in which it operates because of its reputation and the achievements it has made in recent years, he said.
“The group also follows a strategic expansion strategy to enter new markets and form more partnerships, all within a comprehensive sustainability framework.”
Elegancia Group’s innovative and state-of-the-art pavilion design did not fail to impress Project Qatar visitors. The pavilion featured the group’s various sectors and business activities, which were showcased through creative models and applications. The stand also used the spaces practically to welcome the group’s VIP guests and businessmen.
Henrik Christiansen, the CEO of Elegancia Group, said, “Project Qatar represents a great opportunity for Elegancia Group to meet with future customers, understand their needs and offer solutions to meet their requirements.”
More than 150 prominent local and international construction and contracting participated in Project Qatar 2021. The event provides in-person opportunities to open new channels of communication between these companies, decision-makers, and key leaders in the local market.
