The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary partial closure on Al Shaghya Street in West Bay area from Friday, October 1, for two months.
The closure, to be implemented in coordination with the General Traffic Directorate, aims to allow for Al Shaghya Street development works, part of the Roads & Parks Development Project in West Bay.
The roads to Al Shaghya Street will be closed from Balhambar and Balhaneen Streets. Vehicles going to the street will have to use the alternative entrance on Al Tawaweesh Street opposite of City Centre Doha.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure. Ashghal has requested all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
