The Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations, Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, has expressed her appreciation for the partnership between Qatar and the US. She has expressed her gratitude and thanks to the Qatari people.
In a tweet on Thursday, Thomas-Greenfield expressed her gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and to the Qatari people for their support and generosity in facilitating the safe transit of US citizens and Afghan evacuees.
“Grateful to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister @MBA_AlThani_ and the people of Qatar for their support and generosity in facilitating the safe transit of US citizens and Afghan evacuees. Appreciate our strong partnership to promote regional security,” she said in a tweet.
