Tel Aviv In the alleged kidnapping case of little Eitan, the only survivor of the cable car disaster by Italy’s Lake Maggiore, a preliminary court decision stated that the 6-year-old boy is to remain in Israel for the time being.
He will remain until the resumption of the trial at the family court in Tel Aviv, scheduled for October 8, the ANSA news agency reported on Thursday.
According to ANSA, judicial sources said that Eitan’s maternal relatives and his aunt Aya Biran-Nirko, who travelled from Italy to Israel, will share his guardianship. The hearing was held in Tel Aviv on Thursday, a judicial spokeswoman confirmed but did not give further details as it was a session of the family court. (dpa)
