The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, a Mercedes-Benz dealer in Qatar, has announced the recall of Mercedes-Benz G class models from 2019 to 2020 because the powertrain control unit does not meet manufacturer specifications.
The recall campaign is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The ministry said that it will work with the dealer to monitor the maintenance and repair work, as well as communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs were completed.(TNN)
