The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in cooperation with Mannai Trading Company W.L.L., the dealer of GMC vehicles in Qatar, has announced the recall of the GMC Yukon 2021 model, due to a defect in the airbag unit software.
The ministry said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The ministry said it would coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
Additionally, the ministry, in collaboration with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, a Mercedes-Benz dealer in Qatar, has announced the recall of the AMG GT Mercedes-Benz 2019 model due to an incorrect information label placed on the inside of the hood during production regarding filling the refrigerant circuit.
