Sheikh Joaan dedicates historic achievement to Amir, Father Amir and Qatari people

Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani has dedicated the historic achievement of weightlifter Fares Ibrahim, claiming Qatar’s first Olympic gold medal, to HH the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Qatari people. “This unprecedented accomplishment is a result of the joint efforts made by Team Qatar’s golden weightlifter Fares Ibrahim, his coaching staff and the Qatar Weightlifting and Fencing Federation,” Sheikh Joaan said.
