Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Dr Ahmad Hassen Al Hammadi met with Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Division for Treaty Affairs John Brandolino in Vienna on Monday. Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations and international organizations in Vienna HE Ambassador Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri was present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed the existing cooperation relations between Qatar and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, and ways to expand these relations in the future.
Al Hammadi affirmed Qatar’s commitment to continue supporting international activities, including the activities of the United Nations Office in Vienna, with the aim of addressing terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking and corruption.
Brandolino expressed the gratitude of the UN Office for the generous support provided by Qatar to the office in a way that enhances its capabilities. (QNA)
