President of the General Authority of Customs (GAC) HE Ahmed bin Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Jamal inspected the workflow and procedures at Abu Samra border port and the readiness to prepare for the return of travellers after the blessed Eid Al Adha holidays.
Al Jamal, according to GAC’s Twitter post, stressed the need for coordination between all units, the port administration and the competent authorities to facilitate the movement of incoming and outgoing travellers.
Work at the Abu Samra port witnessed a major boom during the current year, with the implementation of many new procedures through the customs single window system ‘Al Nadeeb’. (TNN)
