The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, a Mercedes-Benz dealer in Qatar, has announced the recall of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter models 2018-2019
due to a flaw in the screw that connects the brake pedal to the bearing bracket, which is not properly secured, causing the brake lights to illuminate permanently.
The recall campaign is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The ministry said that it will work with the dealer to monitor the maintenance and repair work, as well as communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs were completed.
The ministry urged all customers to report any violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquires and suggestions through the following channels:
