Moscow Russian dissident Alexei Navalny has filed another lawsuit against the conditions of his detention in Russian prisons.
The hearing at a Moscow court on Tuesday was held in camera. Navalny himself was present via video, the independent broadcaster Dozhd reported.
The 45-year-old has been complaining for months that he is wrongly classified as a flight risk and is therefore being tortured by being woken up several times a night. Specifically, this lawsuit is about the detention conditions during Navalny’s time in a Moscow remand prison earlier this year. It was initially unclear when the court would make a decision. (dpa)
