Msheireb Downtown Doha has introduced Msheireb Galleria as a new shopping and dining destination for visitors, offering both local and international high-end products.
With the first Monoprix offering smart solutions in Qatar and 30 pop-up stores spread across the ground floor, Msheireb Galleria offers visitors a customised experience and a selection of brands coming to Qatar for the first time -- ranging from perfumes, skincare products, piercing parlour, glasses, jewellery, home decorations and accessories, contemporary abayas and fashionable outfits, houseware brands, art galleries supporting local artists and a variety of F&B outlets.
Msheireb Galleria is home to Smart Msheireb Monoprix, the first Monoprix in Qatar offering smart shopping services for customers and an anchor tenant of Msheireb Galleria.
The supermarket will provide its famous Concierge and the Shop & Go concepts, making the shopping experience for residents and visitors of the city district more convenient and comfortable.
It will offer an extensive organic range of 12,000 items sourced internationally, as well as a new dine-in Qatari-food concept, sushi bar, and pasta & pizza corner.
The opening resulted from an agreement between Msheireb Properties and Ali Bin Ali Group, a renowned local retail and distribution company and the owner of the Monoprix franchise in Qatar.
Talking to media, Acting CEO of Msheireb Properties Ali Al Kuwari said, “Msheireb Downtown Doha is pleased to welcome visitors to Msheireb Galleria, which is introducing several amazing local and international brands with unique products and services.
“Here you can feel the city’s soul with high-class experience, where new generations are coming back to the same area that their families had their stores and business in. This is part of Msheireb Properties’ mandate and mission in maintaining our heritage and presenting it in contemporary style.”
Tamader Al Sulaiti and Noor Al Sulaiti, graduates from Virginia Commonwealth University, Qatar, are the owners of Modish, one of the outlets at the Msheireb Galleria. They are inspired by the unique designs of dressing of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, chairperson of Qatar Foundation.
Noor Al Sulaiti said that after their graduation, both the class fellows decided to choose fashion as their career. They are into abaya business since 2012, starting from their home and later participating in exhibitions. They said their deep passion in exclusive designs creativity brought them to have the first outlet in Msheireb Galleria.
Maryam Al Malki, owner of Buco piercing parlour, said this is the first-ever needle piercing parlour in Qatar offering safer and less painful than gun piercing.
She plans to start body piercing soon also.
Beckoning on visitors with iconic flower walls and pink interior, EL&N, a UK-based fine dining restaurant, opened its first overseas branch in Msheireb Galleria. It was founded by Alexandra Miller, a fashion designer.
Hani Taleb, general manager for Qatar branch, said that COVID-19 pandemic was no threat to them and they are very happy to open their first branch outside the UK in Msheireb.
