A new chapter began in the history of Pearl School on Monday (June 21) with the launch of a purpose-built state-of-the-art campus of Pearl Modern School at Umm Besher, Al Meshaf.
Starting with a humble beginning, Pearl School opened the doors of its first campus in 2013 at Al-Thumama followed by its second campus at West Bay. The opening of the two campuses was in recognition of the need of the community for top-class education and students’ holistic development.
As one of the youngest CBSE-affiliated Indian schools in Qatar, Pearl Modern school has now opened itsthe third campus at Umm Besher, Al Meshaf, Al Wakra.
With a built-up area of 23,000 square metres, Pearl Modern School has all the facilities needed for a premier modern educational institution.
The school has 90 well-equipped classrooms, 16 of which are specially designed for kindergarten (KG) sections. In addition, 40 rooms have been allocated for fostering creativity in art, music, dance, technological innovation such as robotics and other areas.
All classrooms are equipped with multimedia capabilities such as Smart Whiteboards with furniture specifically developed for KG, Primary and Secondary age groups.
The new campus is well-equipped with advanced labs for chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, computer science and languages. As reading is an essential part of a student’s development, two library halls have been designed to host a wide collection of books.
The new campus has a large multipurpose auditorium. The premises are further primed to nurture young athletic talents with a fully equipped fitness club, large indoor swimming pool, badminton court, tennis court, basketball court, football field and a very spacious cafeteria. The school is also equipped with a dedicated resource centre to train and develop teachers. The foundation stone for the new campus was laid on June 26, 2019 by P. Sreeramakrishnan, honorable speaker of the State of Kerala in India. The construction of the premise was completed in January 2021.
Pearl Modern School is now fully operational and ready for academic year 2021-2022, and has already admitted more than 400 students from KG to Class XI with a further capacity to accommodate more than 2,000 students. The board of directors brings a wealth of experience in education with the intention to provide an enriching learning experience to all students, combining the importance of academics, life skills and holistic development of the student. This is the commitment of the management and teachers to parents who have entrusted us in helping to achieve their child’s full potential.
In a statement, the school wrote, “Our mission to serve the community, the existing fee structure will be continued with no change for classes from KG to Preparatory. Looking to the future, we have plans to expand our infrastructure facilities, especially for sports and games, associate and affiliate with one of the most reputed educational institutions in India and hope to make the announcement shortly.
“With the advent of our third campus, Pearl School stands ready to address the educational challenges of today and of the future. We endeavor to become a center of scholastic excellence in Qatar.”
