The Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on scientific research and diplomatic studies.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed by Director of the Diplomatic Institute Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Horr and Professor Emad El-Din Shahin, Dean of the College of Islamic Studies (CIS) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, aims to strengthen cooperation between the two sides in order to exchange experiences, organize programs and workshops, and carry out research and advisory activities, research projects, diplomatic studies, international political and economic relations, and other related fields.
It also dealt with educational cooperation, theoretical training, professional experience exchange, scientists and researchers in common fields, holding conferences, seminars, and joint specialised workshops related to academic, diplomatic, political, and economic relations.
The MoU emphasised the two sides’ cooperation in preparing joint scientific research in areas of mutual interest, as well as working to strengthen ties between researchers and research teams on both sides.
