With temperatures continuing to rise as Qatar approaches the peak summer months, the working hours at Lusail and Al Wakra Drive-Through Vaccination Centers will be changed to 4 pm to midnight daily from Sunday (June 13), the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced.
The last entry at these drive-through vaccination centres will be at 11 pm, it added.
“By limiting the operating hours to the late afternoons and evenings, members of the public using the drive-through centres will be able to enjoy the best possible user experience, while the wellbeing of staff will also be maintained,” the MoPH said.
The centres administer second doses only, and to date more than 302,000 people have benefitted from easy access to vaccines at the Lusail and Al Wakra Drive-Through Vaccination Centers, the MoPH said.
