Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan HE Mukhtar Tleuberdi, in Nur Sultan on Thursday.
They discussed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, as well as regional and international developments, during the meeting.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar’s keenness to deepen cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan in a variety of fields, as well as to promote and expand the two countries’ distinguished relations to new horizons. Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and HE Minister of Foreign Affairs signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) regarding support for the construction of a maternity hospital in Almaty province.
