President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Wednesday met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
At the outset of the meeting, the FM conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the President of Uzbekistan and wishes of good health and happiness, and for the people of Uzbekistan continued progress and prosperity.
For his part, the President of Uzbekistan entrusted the FM with his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing him good health and happiness and further progress and development for the Qatari people.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations, particularly in the diplomatic and investment fields, and discussed ways to increasing bilateral trade.
The meeting also discussed the latest regional and international developments.
