The Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has dispatched a shipment of medical aid weighing 37 tonnes to Hamad Bin Khalifa Hospital in Mauritania, in cooperation with the Education Above All Foundation, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Sidra Medicine.
The hospital is operated by the Qatar Red Crescent under the supervision of the Education Above All Foundation. This humanitarian shipment comes within the framework of the efforts made by the Qatar Red Crescent to support the medical sector and enhance humanitarian efforts.
The shipment, which will be delivered to Hamad Bin Khalifa Hospital in Boutilimit, Mauritania, includes a set of medical equipment and supplies provided by HMC and Sidra Medicine. The hospital was established in 2007 in southwestern Mauritania, under the generous patronage of HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, through the Qatari-Mauritanian Foundation for Social Development. (QNA)
