AL ARABI EDGE AL RAYYAN IN THRILLING FINAL TO EMERGE AMIR CUP HANDBALL CHAMPIONS

Al Arabi Sports Club lifted the HH Amir Cup for handball trophy a second time defeating Al Rayyan 30-27 in the final played at the Al Duhail Hall on Saturday. HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President, Qatar Olympic Committee, along with Ahmed Al Shaabi, President, Qatar Handball Association, honoured the winning and runners-up teams with trophy and medals. The final was fierecely contested with Al Arabi leading 16-11 at half time.
