MES Indian School won the Best School Team award at the Inter-School Polemic Challenge organised by Shantiniketan Indian School on the virtual platform on May 27.
The contest witnessed stiff competition among teams representing various Indian schools in Doha.
Neha Alex and Johnpaul Lorance of MES, who spoke with good oratorical skills for and against the motion, earned the Best School title of the competition.
A total of 16 students from eight Indian schools participated in the event to speak for and against the motion”: “School examination should be redesigned to be online during the pandemic and beyond”.
MES Indian School Principal Hameeda Kadar congratulated the winners and teachers who trained the students.
The contestants were presented certificates of participation.
D A S Rex, Rameesh Fathima, Magdalene Sylvia and Sreejith along with a team of teachers from the Department of English trained the students.
