DPS-Modern Indian School held an Academic Award Ceremony on Sunday to honour deserving students from classes VIII, IX and XI (2020-21) for their outstanding academic merit and excellence.
It was a virtual event, and 199 people received certificates, badges, and medals for their well-deserved success, which they achieved through sheer perseverance, grit, and determination.
Rocky Fernandes, director of DPS-Modern Indian School, was the chief guest. He praised the students for their enthusiasm, resilience, and determined efforts to achieve their goal. He stressed the importance of upholding values, coping with a changing world, being grateful to all involved in the journey of life, and using their success to benefit, inspire, and influence other students.
Asna Nafees, the principal, praised the students and teachers for their efforts despite the year’s challenges and uncertainty, and advised them to remain committed to their academic pursuits.
