The Public Cleaning Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has completed its preparations for the blessed Eid Al-Fitr as it intensified its efforts to clean and sweep the main streets, public places, cities and residential neighbourhoods, in addition to washing all the waste containers distributed to serve homes.
The department will also continue the general cleaning work around the clock during the Eid period as special field teams have been formed for this occasion to cover all cities and regions in the country and focus on the important places, from washing and sweeping Eid prayer halls and providing the necessary containers in sufficient numbers.
The Ministry of Municipality and Environment calls on the general public to maintain public cleanliness around the country and not to distort public places by throwing waste. In the event of any reports, observations or assistance requests, people can contact the call center at 184.
