Israel has arrested a Palestinian suspect three days after an attack that wounded three Israelis in the West Bank.
One of the three religious students has since died in hospital.
The Israeli domestic intelligence service Shin Bet said overnight that the suspect was a 44-year-old Palestinian. He does not belong to any militant group, it said.
On Sunday, three students from a Jewish yeshiva, or religious school, waiting at a bus stop at a junction south of the Palestinian city of Nablus were hit by gunfire from a passing car. According to Shin Bet, the suspect had been hiding in a building in Silwad near Ramallah when he was arrested.
