Baghdad: Iraqi President Barham Salih said on Wednesday that his country has hosted several rounds of talks between Saudi and Iranian officials, confirming earlier reports about the negotiations.
Talks were held “more than once,” Salih told an online discussion by the Beirut Institute think tank.The talks are “important and significant,” he added. When asked whether any significant progress had been made on Yemen, Salih refused to provide any details. (dpa)
