The Health Control Department of the Municipal Control Department in Al-Daayen Municipality carried out 505 inspection rounds on food establishments in April, resulting in the issuance of 15 violation reports in accordance with the provisions of Law No 8 of 1990 regarding the regulation of human food control.
The department has continued its evening campaigns on kitchens, restaurants and consumer complexes within the municipality where 86 inspection campaigns have been carried out since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The department said the campaigns will continue and will be intensified on sweets and chocolate shops in preparation for receiving the blessed Eid Al-Fitr and following up the extent of these establishments’ compliance with special food specifications and their workers.
