Birla Public School’s (BPS) Department of Art conducted two art workshops recently as part of the co-scholastic activities of the school. The workshops helped students of Grades III to XII develop their creativity and aesthetic sense.
The workshops, conducted online through Zoom, started with a speech by Rajesh Pillai, vice-principal (co-scholastic).
The first workshop centred around practising speed sketching.
During the workshop, children got the opportunity to learn the usage of different mediums such as pencils, pens, soft pastels. etc. in rapid sketching.
The second workshop was conducted by art teacher Ravikumar Chatti
for the students of Grades III to V.
The sessions provided great experience for the children to practise fast sketching and canvas painting, said Principal AP Sharma.
