Saudi feminist activist receives Vaclav award

Strasbourg: Saudi feminist activist Loujain Alhathloul has won the Vaclav Havel Human Rights Prize, awarded by the Council of Europe on Monday. The award was accepted by the activist’s sister, Lina Alhathloul, who said Loujain was being silenced and was unable to attend the online event. (dpa)
