Additionally, in order to avoid exposure to the high outdoor temperatures and provide a safe waiting area for all, the centre’s main parking spots are now being utilised as a point of arrival at the vaccination centre. Authorities taking part in the development and implementation of the new measures include Hamad Medical Corporation, the Primary Health Care Corporation, the Ministry of Interior, Al Fazaa, the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs, QNCC and Qatar Red Crescent. This development is part of a continuous effort to ensure the safety and security of those wishing to receive the vaccine, especially with the expansion of the groups eligible for vaccination, and is designed to protect the general public, the medical and administrative staff, and the organisers working at the vaccination centre. Given the increasing demand for vaccination at the centre, the new arrangements have been established in coordination with the efforts of the Ministry of Public Health to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
