The Ethiopian Embassy in Doha, in collaboration with its strategic partner KON, is hosting a virtual Ethiopian Business Workshop on Monday at 4 pm. The event will be live-streamed on the Embassy’s official Facebook page (facebook.com/EthiopiaInQatar).
The workshop, which is in its second edition, will highlight the Ethiopia-Qatar economic ties, the major business opportunities in Ethiopia and the incentive packages to foreign investors.
Qatari businessmen and women, senior Ethiopian officials (state ministers and prominent experts in the field), Embassy officials, and invited guests will attend the workshop.
Ethiopia is one of the top 10 leading investment destinations in Africa, according to the Ethiopian Embassy. The country has a huge untapped and attractive investment potential in the fields of agriculture, hotel and tourism, trade, infrastructure, transport, health, education, mining and manufacturing, it added.
“This will be a good opportunity for the government of Qatar and Qatari businessmen and women to have more investment in Ethiopia.
“Particularly, the huge investment potential in agri-business and agro-processing will serve the interests of both the nations. There are still tremendous potential and opportunities to exploit which will further strengthen the everlasting relations and mutual benefit.”
