More than 30 major French companies will attend Milipol Qatar 2021 in Doha, the trade fair specialised in security and safety issues, to be held from March 15 to 17, 2021.
The French industry has gained international renown in different fields such as cybersecurity, drones and robotics, personal protective equipment as well as infrastructure protection and safety. These sectors will be represented by companies offering cutting-edge innovative solutions.
Ambassador of France in Qatar HE Franck Gellet said, “Qatar is a particularly demanding partner for the safety and security sectors, with large-scale upcoming projects such as the World Cup, which will be held for the very first time in the Arab world, as well as the expansion of Ras Laffan’s infrastructures.
“Through their attendance at the Milipol Trade Show, French experts and companies wish to showcase their commitment, alongside their partners, in addressing the many challenges ahead, such as the increase in the capabilities of infrastructures, securing power plants and oil & gas complexes, protecting sites and people for major events to come in the country and in the wider region.”
France offers, in particular, strong leadership in IT engineering, algorithms, imaging software, identification and cybersecurity. Another French asset is research and innovation capabilities through its extensive network of state-of-the-art laboratories.
Outstanding engineering and industrial processes skills also stem from the French defence and digital technology industries - biometrics, access control, mobility.
The French Pavillion, supported by the Paris Ile-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce in coordination with Business France, gathers 22 major groups and SMEs experts in their field, such as SERB which provides anti-poison kits and CBRN prevention solutions; Exavision specialised in optronics and optical systems; MC2 Technologies which has developed scanners dedicated to threat detection and drones jammers or VANS THEAULT experts in transportation for Horse Guards Parade.
It includes Aeraccess, Airbus Africa & Middle east FZE, ALSETEX (Etienne Lacroix Group), Augier, Blaxtair, CERBAIR, CS Group, DCI, Elistair, ERTC Center, ETS Morin, FB Mecasystem, Georges Morand, GSC THEAULT, Nexter Robotics, Omega Koncept, Parapactum (MAPACHE - LE VERITABLE CHERBOURG), SAPL, STID and Tactical Steel.
Despite the current travel restrictions, France, with all its major companies attending the Milipol Trade Show, has decided to be present stronger than ever for this ultimate event for security players in Qatar.
