Holiday Villa Hotel & Residence Doha has appointed Mary Naidu as Assistant General Manager and promoted Ismadi Ismail to Director of Food & Beverage.
Naidu is new to Doha while Ismail has been with Holiday Villa since 2013. Hailing from Malaysia, they bring more than 50 years of combined experience on board the Holiday Villa brand in Doha.
Naidu has wide experience of over 25 years in hotel operations, and assets and facilities management. She is well versed in frontline and back-of-house service industry operations management, business development, key account management, contracts negotiation and training and development.
Among her responsibilities at the hotel will be the continued implementation of Holiday Villa International’s hallmark, the MANJA Programme, which is the group’s unique quality management system implemented in all areas of hotel operations as the means to achieve total customer satisfaction and sustain employee motivation through the practice of continuous improvement, involving all levels of workforce in the organisation.
Naidu will be working hand in hand with the Regional General Manager Joey Chen, overseeing the various business interests of Holiday Villa brand which comprise the hotel, serviced residences and resorts, F&B outlets, commercial spaces, fitness centre, spa, hair and beauty salon and the overall management.
Ismail has over 20 years of experience to leverage, and he will lead the F&B and culinary operations. He will oversee the newly opened roof top Iconic View Restaurant and Majestic Ballroom with a 500 pax banquet capacity, developing exciting F&B concepts, delectable menu and leading as well as guiding the team to maintain the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) compliance.
HACCP is an international standard defining the requirements for effective control of food safety which Holiday Villa Hotel & Residence Doha has been maintaining since 2018.
