Sana’a: At least eight people died on Sunday and 170 others were injured in a fire at a holding facility for migrants in war-devastated Yemen, the UN migration agency said. “Eight people confirmed dead; the total death toll is reported to be much higher,” the International Organization for Migration (IOM) wrote on its Twitter account. The cause of the fire at the facility in Yemen’s rebel-controlled capital Sana’a remains unclear. The IOM said that more than 90 of the 170 people injured in the blaze were in a serious condition.
