Minister of Education and Higher Education HE Dr Mohammad bin Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi visited a couple of public schools to check on the progress of the mid-term 2 exams and their adherence to COVID-19 safety measures.
The visit included Khalifa Model School For Boys and Compass International School, where Dr Al Hammadi reviewed the measures taken to ensure the health of students, teachers and administrative staff.
The minister urged school principals to continue adhering to the precautionary measures and provide an optimal environment to support the students during the exams. On Wednesday, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) said starting from March 21, no employee will be allowed to enter schools without having golden frame and vaccination stamp on Ehteraz app, or showing up vaccination card, or furnishing a proof of having COVID-19 test on a weekly basis.
The measures are being taken to ensure the safety of the educational, administrative staff and students.
