The minister said the generous patronage of this award by HH the Amir, especially in light of COVID-19, is a proof of the importance attached by HH to this award. Dr Al Hammadi affirmed that the ministry has made great efforts to confront the spread of the COVID-19 and to reduce its negative effects on education, as it took the decision to implement a distance education system. The transition to this system in schools was smooth in these exceptional circumstances, he said.
