Birla Public School (BPS) Doha has earned appreciation from the Private Education Affairs of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
The ministry, in a special letter to the school, conveyed its greetings for scoring above the Global Average of 500 points in the framework of Qatar’s participation in the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS 2019).
Wishing the school further success and progress, Omar Abdulaziz Al Naama, assistant undersecretary for Private Education Affairs, lauded the genuine and diligent efforts of the staff and teachers of BPS. The school had produced excellent results in the past editions of PISA,TIMMS and PIRLS and the average of the school has been above the average of the European countries. The performance has been improving every time.
BPS Principal A P Sharma said the innovative best practices adopted by the school to strengthen learning has immensely contributed to its steady performance in these benchmark tests. The school is committed to contributing to the best performance of the country, he said.
“Committed to setting the bar ever higher, BPS wholeheartedly registers its gratitude to the country for its encouragement. The school also acknowledges and appreciates the efforts of the staff members. The school management congratulated the staff students and parents for the achievement,” the principal said.
