The College of Science and Engineering (CSE) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) held a live Virtual Graduate Studies Information Session for prospective students on February 15.
During an informative presentation, Dr Mounir Hamdi, founding dean of CSE, and faculty members gave participants an overview of the multidisciplinary, research-intensive bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees offered by the college, which provides a wide range of programmes at HBKU. It was an opportunity for future students to gain first-hand insights into how they could advance their knowledge and core expertise in high-demand fields such as information and computing technology, engineering management and decision sciences, and sustainable development at CSE.
Faculty members highlighted unique opportunities to engage in hands-on cutting-edge research, as all CSE programmes provide specialisation streams and involve collaboration with HBKU’s three pioneering research institutes. The event concluded with members of the HBKU admissions team presenting details on the application requirements and criteria.
The deadline for Qatari nationals and residents who wish to apply to HBKU’s wide-ranging programs is March 15, 2021.
