Attorney-General HE Dr Ali bin Fattis Al Marri and Gambian Attorney-General and Minister of Justice Dawda Jallow on Tuesday signed a judicial cooperation agreement between Qatar and The Gambia.
The signing of the agreement was attended by Special Envoy of the President of The Gambia and Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad Dr Mamadou Tangara.
The agreement aims to strengthen bilateral relations and facilitate judicial cooperation between the two countries.
The Public Prosecution of Qatar seeks to provide support to the judiciary sector in The Gambia, especially in the framework of implementing the contents of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and to provide technical support to other countries with the aim of advancing this sector and contributing to highlight Qatar’s experience in the field of electronic services in the judiciary.
