Ahmed Al Maadheed, the renowned Qatari artist of ‘TAMIM THE GLORY’ fame, has formally partnered with ‘Interior Treasures’ to showcase and commercialise his artwork and services in the local and the international market.
Maadheed, whose iconic image ‘TAMIM THE GLORY became a symbol of Qatari strength during the blockade, told Qatar Tribune that he shared common goal with Interior Treasures of creating beautiful items that
give pleasure and leave a creative legacy.
Imbued with the spirit of Qatar, he said, “I want my artwork to have a lasting impact on the world. Associating with ‘Interior Treasures’ will provide me with ample opportunities to design, manufacture and install projects of the highest quality at both local and international levels.”
While Maadheed has been associated with ‘Interior Treasures’ for over a year, the formal partnership was announced after many discussions based on their determination to work together.
“Over the last year, Interior Treasures and Ahmed Al Maadheed have been working on this new idea and developing it. It’s now time on February 15, 2021, to launch this collaboration worldwide through multiple channels,” Interior Treasures said in a statement issued on the occasion.
Established in 1978 in the Netherlands, Interior Treasures design, manufacture and install projects of the highest quality concentrating especially in the residential, corporate and luxury yacht markets.
As a beginning of the partnership, Interior Treasures announced the launch of their first limited edition furniture set ‘corner of peace’, a chair, table and a painting with handcrafted wooden frame, painted by Ahmed Al Maadheed.
Showcased in the Interior Treasures showroom in Doha, one can have a virtual tour to see limited pieces of the furniture collection with the artwork of Ahmed.
“Interior Treasures and Maadheed will also start working on custom interior projects for any item or living space,” an official of Interior Treasures said.
“During seven years of very successfully operating Interior Treasures in Qatar, focusing on the highest level of design and execution, we have come to clearly understand the changing needs of the Qatar interior design and execution industry. We understand that clients are in need of a company which actually really delivers quality for a good price, and on time, and keeps to their promises,” the official said.
“Drawing on our 42 years of experience of operating at the highest level worldwide, we have developed a concept and strategy, especially for the Qatar market. It is this strategy that gave birth to our sister company ‘Interior Treasures Home’ on January 1 this year in Qatar. This company will focus on neo-classic, classic, contemporary and modern interior design. As a local Qatar design office understanding the needs of their local clients, we offer a one-stop solution from design to execution with local in-house design and resources and supply, locally and international,” the
official said.
Interior Treasures Home will be focused on a strategy of making interior design and execution an enjoyable, calm and affordable experience, he said.
Maadheed said, “This unique partnership will result in many new products to surprise the local market. We are open to working on special projects to make the upcoming FIFA World Cup a
memorable one.”
