Qatar Chamber’s general assembly meeting, scheduled to be held online on Monday (February 15), has been postponed to March 3 due to lack of quorum
The second meeting will be held at noon on March 3 regardless of the number of attendees, QC’s Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani has said.
Due to the current circumstances and in adherence with the precautionary measures taken to curb the spread of COVID-19, the second meeting would be held through video conferencing, he added.
The online registration for attending the meeting will start at 8 am on March 3 through the Chamber’s website www.qatarchamber.com.
After the registration, each member, who must have a valid membership, will receive a link to follow up and participate in the meeting.
The statement from QC noted that the meeting’s agenda includes reviewing the report of the board of directors on the activities of the Chamber in 2020.
It also includes discussing the QC’s fiscal report for 2020 through the auditor’s report on the final accounts and the statement of income and expenses for the year.
It will also see the estimated budget for the fiscal year 2021 getting approved and a new auditor for the 2021 financial year being appointed.
