The number of new daily coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the country surpassed 300-mark in nearly six months on Wednesday. Qatar reported 338 new COVID-19 cases -- 324 from community and 14 from travellers returning from abroad, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said in its daily report.
Also, 127 people recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in Qatar to 145,251.
“All the new cases have been introduced to isolation and are receiving necessary healthcare according to their health status,” the MoPH added. (TNN)
