Doha International Cargo (DIC) company has resumed its operations after a gap of one and a half years with renewed energy and a special offer.
Established in 2001, DICS is one of the leading cargo companies operating in Qatar. “After successful operation of almost 18 years, we had to pause our business for one and a half years due to some hurdles with our agents in Pakistan and later because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now all the problems have been sorted out and we are back to business with a renewed energy,” said company owner Shahid Shah Zahid, speaking to Qatar Tribune.
“To celebrate the resumption of our business, we are offering an attractive package to our valued customers. If our client sends 100kg or above of a cargo to Pakistan, we will not charge him for 10kg. This offer is valid from January 20 for one month,” said Zahid while adding that his company will offer very competitive rates.
“Besides shipment of household cargo, we also offer import, export and cargo clearance services for traders,” he informed.
Operations Manager Nasir Ayaz Mohammad Ayaz said the company offers door-to-door cargo service to all major cities or towns in Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, Quetta, Gilgit and Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province. “Our customers don’t need to bring their cargo to our office for shipment. We have the facility to collect cargo from their location once they call us,” said Ayaz, adding that the company also helps in packing.
A large number of community members attended the event organised recently by the company to mark the resumption of business. Nawaf Abdullah Al Bakheet, Sales Executive of PIA Doha office Kabiruddin Siraj Khan and Shahid Abbas from Pakistan embassy attended the event as special guests.
Kabiruddin urged community members to support Pakistani products and institutions in Qatar and use PIA’s air cargo services offered through DIC on very competitive rates.
