Mowasalat (Karwa) has started providing COVID-19 vaccination to its employees as part of the national campaign to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
The company said the campaign is part of the precautionary measures being carried out by the company to fight the spread of the virus.
Mowasalat’s frontline staff who currently shuttle arriving guests from the Hamad International Airport to quarantine hotels will be the first to receive the vaccine.
“To protect the community, all other bus and taxi drivers will also be vaccinated through the healthcare system, which is provided by Mowasalat in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health and Hamad Medical Corporation. The company ensures that all employees understand the importance of this vaccination to protect themselves, their families and their passengers against COVID,” the statement said.
Fahad Saad Al Qahtani, Mowasalat (Karwa) CEO, said: “Mowasalat believes that one of the most important requirements of sustainable development is the existence of an efficient and safe transport system. Since its foundation, the company has been providing medical services through an integrated world-class medical centre that serves Mowasalat’s employees and the employees of other companies in the transportation sector. This step is part of the precautionary measures implemented by the company in collaboration with various authorities in the state to maintain the health of the community and fight the spread of this pandemic.”

The care for our drivers includes a medical centre with emergency facilities, isolation rooms, a pharmacy, first-aid units and professional medical staff.
