The Telangana Welfare Association-Qatar (TWA-Qatar), in association with Hamad Medical Corporation Blood Unit, organised its first mega blood-donation campaign with the participation of 176 donors.
PN Babu Rajan, president Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), was the chief guest at the event. Rajani Murthy, ICBF MC member; Satyanarayana Malireddy, president of Andhara Kala Vedhika; Tirupathi Ch, president of T P S; Sabeena M K, IT project manager; Srinivas Gadde, chairman of Dana World Contracting Co; Syed Rafi, chairman of Channel 5; and Javid Ahmad, president of AMU’s alumni association of Qatar, were the guests of honour.
TWA-Qatar presented the donors with certificates of appreciation and lunch boxes with the help of sponsors, namely, City Exchange, Deccan House and Konaseema Hyderabad Restaurant.
TWA-Qatar President Khaja Nizamuddin thanked all for making the campaign a grand success, especially the efforts of Gulam Rasool, Venkata Soujanya, Naveed Dastagir, Sudhakar Sokkam, Nagaraju, Ramesh Pitla, Mohammed Salauddin, Mohammed Taha, Shiva Krishna, Venu Gopal, Swaraj Kumar, Anees Mohammed, Atif Mohammed, Krishna P, Yerram Raju, Ameer Luthfe Ahmad, Arshad Ali, Ashfaq, Azeem and Sampath.
The association received a Certificate of Appreciation from Hamad Medical Corporation for the successful organisation of the campaign, said Venkata Soujanya, general secretary of TWA-Qatar.
