Jakarta: Search teams resumed efforts on Wednesday to find the cockpit voice recorder and bodies from an Indonesian passenger jet that crashed over the weekend with 62 people on board. Navy divers on Tuesday retrieved the aircraft’s flight data recorder, raising hopes that investigators will be able to determine why the Sriwijaya Air Boeing 737-500 plummeted into the Java Sea four minutes after taking off from Jakarta airport on Saturday.  “We have high confidence that today’s search operation will have good results,” said Brigadier General Rasman, operations chief at the National Search and Rescue Agency. Search teams have so far collected 139 bags of body parts and pieces of the aircraft, including one of its turbines, he said.  (dpa)
