Pakistan Engineers’ Forum (PEF), a group of Pakistani engineers in Qatar, organised an event to bid adieu to Faisal Khan at Spice and Sizzles Restaurant recently.
Khan, who has worked for leading LNG producers in Qatar for 10 years, recently moved back to the USA. During his stay in Qatar, Khan was associated with a number of community organisations and held executive positions.
Speaking on the occasion, Khan thanked PEF members for organising an event in his honour. “I had a long association with PEF and had the honour of organising many successful programmes. I will always remember the love and affection I received from my community members especially the engineers fraternity. Moving to Qatar was the best decision I had ever made in my life,” remarked Khan.
“Faisal Khan was an asset for Pakistan Engineers’ Forum. He will always be remembered for his efforts and contributions towards engineers community. He helped organise several technical seminars and programmes to impart education and technical knowledge to the community at large. We will miss him,” said PEF President Muhammad Javed Iqbal.
Established in 1997, the mission of PEF is to bring all Pakistani engineers working in Qatar on one platform. Besides promoting professional contacts between the members, the forum protects and promotes the interests of its members. It arranges technical seminars and promotes Pakistani technical expertise and highlights opportunities. PEF also organises social, cultural and sports events for the families of its members.
