Pakistan’s Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the schedule for submission of admission forms for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examination 2021.
The last date for receiving admission forms from overseas students has been set as January 7, 2021. However, admission forms with late fee will be accepted until February 1, 2021.
The candidates who failed in SSC special annual examination 2020 may also submit their admission forms according to the same schedule.
Change of subjects/group will not be allowed under any circumstances after submission of admission form to the FBISE’s Office.
The facility of re-appearing in one or two papers of SSC Part-I along with Part-II papers is provided only to passed candidates of SSC-I for which papers of Part-I will have to be indicated in the respective column of admission form. The candidate will pay full fee of both the parts.
The candidates who intend to improve their grade/marks after passing SSC Examination can do so by re-appearing in any number of subjects/papers of their choice of Part-I or Part-II or both the parts/entire examination as the case may be within a period of one year of passing the relevant examination. The candidates appearing in any subject involving practical examination shall appear in the practical examination as well. However, the candidates neither require nor can appear in practical if they are appearing in a paper of a subject or any one part of the examination.
Private candidates are allowed to appear in the subject involving practical subjects to the condition that he/she provides certificate of having done the practical at an affiliated institution duly signed by the Principal.
All the three Pakistani educational institutions in Qatar – Pakistan International School, Pak Shamaa School and College and Bright Future International School – are affiliated to the board.
The FBISE was established in 1975 and functions under the Ministry of Education and Training Division. Besides conducting SSC and HSSC examinations for overseas Pakistani institutions, its jurisdiction also includes institutions located in Islamabad Capital Territory, Federally Administered Northern Areas, cantonments and garrisons all over Pakistan.
