Gaza City/Tel Aviv: The head of the radical Islamist Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, Yehya Sinwar, has tested positive for the coronavirus, his office said Tuesday. Sinwar’s office added that he is in good health, and is working as usual while adhering to the coronavirus restrictions and self-isolating. The Hamas-run Health Ministry said Tuesday that it had recorded nine deaths and 815 new Covid-19 cases in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. (afp)
