The Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) recently conducted a virtual awareness seminar on the functions and services of the Juvenile Police Department, the work mechanism of the department in dealing with juvenile cases, and cybercrimes.
The seminar was conducted in two slots -- the first one for students and the other for teachers -- through Zoom. The facilitators for the sessions were Capt Shaeen Rashid Al Dosari and Faisal Hudawi Around 50 Students and teachers from Birla Public School (BPS) attended the seminar, which aimed to introduce the students between the ages of 7 and 16 years the functions and services of the Juvenile Police Department rendered to the children in Qatar, said A P Sharma, principal of BPS.
