The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Thursday announced 208 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) within 24 hours.
According to the ministry, 159 of the cases were from the community while 49 were from travellers returning from abroad who are subject to quarantine.
The MoPH also recorded 218 recoveries from the virus within 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in Qatar to 133,691.
All new cases have been introduced to isolation and are receiving necessary care according to their health status. (QNA)
